The school leadership does its best to create good working conditions, motivation and education of teachers. We provide a full time training for the students from the primary school. All the students have Entrepreneurship classes provided by the “Junior Achievement” system and also have additional English classes. At the beginning of the middle school, fifth grade, the
students can choose the specialized class they want to attend. The choice is between different subjects: Mathematicsand Bulgarian Language, Foreign Languages, Natural sciences. Agrupamento de Escolas Trigal de Santa Maria

Our school is located in a small city called Tadim which is located in a semi-rural area, next to a big city called Braga, in the north of Portugal. We have approximately 870 students from 3 to 15 years and 63 teachers. The students go from kindergarten to the 9th grade elementary school. The majority of the students is from this rural area. Most of our
students come from families that work mainly in the fields and in small family industries. Some come from one parent families and have social needs. Some have divorced parents and a few are orphans. Almost 8% of students have special education needs. We have very few students coming from other countries (Ukraine, Cabo Verde, France) and also have Roma students. Our immigrant students have a support of a Portuguese teacher to help them to cope with language difficulties. Most of our students are not used to deal with students from other nationalities, so this represents an opportunity for them to interact with other cultures. The participation in this project will be important to develop the European citizenship of students and to let them realize that there are opportunities for them waiting outside the small place where they live. The school already has a tradition of participating, and winning projects, especially in the areas related to science, new technologies and languages. He won a project of the Gulbenkian Foundation in the areas of languages and new educational technologies, called "EMA - Stimulus to the Improvement of the Learning". With this project the learning of languages, sciences and mathematics was fostered through the creation of physical spaces of learning (Hipermédia Spaces) that favor: the emergence of learning situations that are defined by students' knowledge production activities; the creative mobilization of the diversity of existing educational resources, both internal and external to the school; the
insertion of the school in a local educational network that includes other schools and non-school institutions. In this project the disciplines use the use of ICT as an essential tool for the development of it. The school won a Montepio Geral Bank school prize.his project aims at Eco Sustainable Learning. With this project, the school develops students' civic and environmental awareness; increases student motivation for school success,
including SEN students; increases the participation of parents in charge of education; contributes with a small response to the crisis that affects the families of our young people.
We have won several awards over the years in the area of sciences and chemistry.
We participate in eTwinning projects in ICT classes for the last 4 years with several international partners, namely Italy, Turkey, Albania and Romania. In these partnerships are developed several activities, all using ICT and counting on the interested and participative involvement of students in their realization.

SOU Gimnazija "Goce Delcev"

The number of the teachers included in the educational process is 100.
In our school each year we enroll nearly 1200 students who may choose the course they will attend. The school offers the following educational profiles:
1. Natural Sciences and Mathematics
2.Social and Humanistic profile
3.Linguistic and artistic
The students attending our school are at age of 15 to 19. The student body is culturally diverse and includes students from different nationalities as macedonian, serbian, roman, abanian.
The school has been involved into several projects among which:Our school has several Erasmus + projects and 6 teams work on these projects. Students speak English great, work in
a team, they are responsive and communicative. Most teachers also understand and speak English and are willing to take active part in project implementation. After each return from some mobility, we meet with all our teachers to introduce our colleagues to the way we work in the schools we have visited, the equipment they use in class and many of them want to participate in projects.Through mobility we meet new people, we make new friendships, we get to know the education system in the new countries, the conditions and equipment they work with, as well as their customs and traditions. There is a school parliament in our school, with students and teachers actively involved. At the meetings, they discuss
current problems at the school and how to resolve them. Our students are very creative. Constantly have some ideas for improving the school climate, giving ideas and
suggestions for fulfilling mobility commitments for any of the projects. They are communicative and open to new people, countries and customs. There are differences in every society. They arise from birth and should not cause conflicts or even hatred. People
should not be divided by skin color, social status or nationality. All should be equal. Our country is a transit of refugees and we treat them as humanely as we can. Our school teaches students of Albanian, Turkish and Roma ethnicity, but they are accepted and there is no division or discrimination and stereotypes among the students. In our school, debates
and workshops on discrimination and stereotypes are constantly organized, and ways are found to reduce discrimination and stereotypes and to completely eliminate them.
We are also organizing a photography competition with the theme: “same but different” which many students take part in and we are very surprised by the great creativity of our students. My project implementation team is :
Valentina Karanfilovikj Math-teacher
Meri Manevska - English teacher
Aleksandra Manevska - English teacher
Filip Mladenovski Math-teacher
Elena Stanojkovska-Italian teacher
Most of our teachers have an excellent knowledge of English language, they are ready for challenges and they want to expand their friendships.
ISTITUTO ISTRUZIONE SUPERIORE BERNALDA FERRANDINA

I.I.S. Bernalda-Ferrandina is the result of a recent amalgamation of two schools: I.I.S.Bernalda and I.I.S. Cassola Ferrandina, with different school branches.
The students population is about 850 people from 14 to 19 years old, coming from both towns and from the neighbouring villages. They belong to different social backgrounds and also to different cultures (minority ethnic groups are well integrated in our territories). A lot of them have a quite advanced level of English, corresponding to B1 or B2 of the QCER and our school has been Cambridge preparation and examination centre since 2017. Other foreign
languages are taught and spoken here: French and Spanish, especially in tourism classes.
In the international field, the institution has always taken part in intercultural exchanges with the Italian association Intercultura, twinnings with European and American countries and more recently in KA1 and VET Erasmus + projects. Also, our school is ECDL preparation and examination centre for both students and teachers; it contains a large number
of labs: ICT, Physics, Chemistry, Foreign Languages,Art which have been implemented recently and innovative tools which have led to the creation of 2.0 classes. Thanks to these up to date technologies, a blend between traditional and more challenging learning environments is made possible. It also contains a library, a sports field, a gym and a gren yard. The school staff is made up of about 100 teachers and 30 administration and technical staff. Most of them have basic language and ICT skills and take part in refresher course periodically.
The school has created a durable cooperation network with other local communities, starting from the municipality, which has always supported educational activities, spending energy and financial support on local activities , but also other no profit associations, like PRO LOCO, Comitato Festa Patronale S.Bernardino, AGESCI scouting group, active
especially in the field of tourism and charities. Bernalda has also an advanced centre for elderly and disabled people, and folk groups. The presence of all these institutions testifies to our great interest in multicultural and inclusive issues. The territory shares different economic realities, but agriculture still plays a fundamental role, alongside small industries,
which has created stable living conditions for the local population.Tourism and history are also important for the presence of some famous archaeological sites dating back to ancient
Greece, such as the temple of the Greek goddess Hera, the archaeological Museum, the necropolis and nearby the beautiful beaches of Metaponto. Our school is located in Bernalda, a town of about 12,000 inhabitants, surrounded by a fertile area and rich in historic
and tourist attractions: the US film director Francis Ford Coppola’s family is from Bernalda and he has bought a magnificent villa in town, which is now a luxurious resort for tourists from al lover the world.

COLEGIUL TEHNIC DE INDUSTRIE ALIMENTARA

Technical College of Food Industry Suceava is one of the biggest technical schools in our town. It has 950 pupils 15-19 years old and 60 teachers. We have, beside food industry main profile, also tourism and alimentation, natural resources and environment protection, mechatronics, electronics and automation profiles. All of our students have the same
subjects like a theoretical highschool, plus technical subjects according to their profile.
Our pupils come (over 80 %) from the rural area nearby the city. They come from families with not so much education. 20% of them have at least 1 parent who works abroad for sustaining the family. One of our school priorities is to increase the European dimension of education, to exchange good practices with other European schools. Our students must acquire the basic skills and competences necessary for their personal
development, being more confident and self-esteeming. An Erasmus Partnership is an important way for doing this. We have noticed the extremely positive impact of the previous projects on our pupils and we want to continue in the same way. For our pupils it will be an once in a life time opportunity to work and learn with other European colleagues, to know
other cultures and to present their own traditions and culture. Our school had acquired experience in Erasmus Plus Programme, KA2 strategic partnerships between schools. We
have now for the first time a K229 school exchange partnership, with the theme “Maths is all around!”, in which 16 pupils and 4 teachers are mainly involved. For this new project we would like to involve more students and teachers, who have not participated before in KA2 projects.
The main Romanian team for the project:
- Violeta Iacentiuc, Physics and ICT teacher, in charge with European Projects in our school, coordinator of the all
Erasmus Plus Projects in the past 3 years.
- Maria Reut, viceprincipal, teacher of sports, in charge with the part of sports activities, also with lot of experience in
organizing matches and competitions, dedicated teacher.
- Monica Lepcaliuc, English teacher, member in the teams of all previous KA2 projects, skilled in formal and nonformal
workshops.
All of them are not planning to leave the school in the next future. Other teachers from our school will be welcomed to
join in order to achieve the proposed results.
