First day - we organized a welcome ceremony, students from all partner countries got to know each other taking part in an icebreaking activity. Each partner country presented their country, city, school and traditional dances. Bulgarian students and their peers from all partners’ countries visited the school and some ongoing classes. We spent some time showing each other our traditional dances. In the afternoon we did some sightseeing in the city of Sofia. Bulgarian students tоок turns presenting different sights of Sofia - Sofia University; the National Library; the Alexander Nevski Cathedral, the National Assembly of Bulgaria, the Russian Church. In the evening our guests enjoyed traditional Bulgarian food and live folk music. They also had the opportunity to join some Bulgarian dances performed by the guests of the restaurant. Second day - we visited Koprivshtitsa - a historical Bulgarian town with preserved houses and cobblestone streets, which can make you feel a sense of the past. The house museums we visited provided a glimpse into lifestyle in the past. We visited the church, Luben Karavelov’s hoiuse museum, the First Shot Bridge, the First Grade School. Third day - a trip to Plovdiv - European Capital of Culture 2019. There we visited the Ethnographic Museum, the church “St. Konstantin and Elena”, the Ancient Theatre. The students were so excited that they performed some impromptu dances on the stage of the theatre. Fourth day. The day started with traditional dances. After each partner country had presented its own traditional dance, the students started teaching each other their traditional dance. As a result all the students taking part in the 2nd LTTA danced all together, performing a traditional dance of each partner country. In the afternoon there was another sightseeing in Sofia. We visited the Ancient Fortress of Serdica, the Rotunda St George, the Presidency Building and the Council of Ministers.
